After studying their A,B,C’s and 1,2,3’s at school, the children are excited to put this knowledge into action as they study the water cycle and how God supplies their wells with rain that began in the ocean. They scratch their heads and get out pencil and paper to figure out how much room a watermelon plant will take up in their garden.
Our eight class sessions with them cover water, soils, seeds, plants, trees, garden design, and so much more. Each class session has a companion laboratory time in their gardens. And once we’ve taught the children one cycle through the classes, we teach their gardener to teach it as well, for there are new children arriving who need to be brought up to speed!
